Vodafone World of Difference picks LifeBuilder - Thursday 27th January 2011
LifeBuilder is very excited to be benefiting from a Vodafone's World of Difference programme. We will be gaining the expertise and skills of a Vodafone World of Difference volunteer.
LifeBuilder will be improving our own skills with the help of Katie Hogan, an Advertising & Graphic Design graduate. Katie will be helping us with all aspects of our fundraising and communication – allowing us to improve our skills so that we can help more people in India improve their vocational skills.
Over 10,000 people entered this year’s Vodafone World of Difference programme to spend 2 months working with their favourite charity while being paid. Only 500 people got picked so we feel very lucky to be benefitting from Katie’s skills.
Katie says she is “thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Lifebuilder, by putting my skills to good use and help them to continue the fantastic work that they do in some of the poorest communities in India"
