LifeBuilderPoverty Fighting Cow

To achieve a secure livelihood, good health and education is a real struggle for a lot of the population of India due to their poverty. 80 per cent of India's population lives on less than $2 a day -  A quarter of all Indians live below the Indian government’s absolute poverty line which is $0.25 (about 16p) a day. There are more poor people living in India than there are living in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Lack of access to opportunities and little to no education are just some of the factors that hamper social and economic development and cause deprivation and poverty.

LifeBuilder believes that those individuals who are empowered through better access to vocational training, health and educational opportunities will be better able to support themselves and their families now and into the future.

LifeBuilder believes that while India’s economy is growing those at the bottom of the economic pyramid are missing out. LifeBuilder aims to give these people the skills they need so that they can help participate in these economy and pull themselves as well as their families out of poverty.
